Made at a pivotal moment in his home country’s history, during the 2024 presidential election, the artist sought to illustrate the symbolism behind Kamala’s life story as the daughter of an immigrant, as being inherently intertwined with America’s history as a country established by immigrants seeking a better life.

The intention behind this piece was to unite a country of citizens seeking to improve the society, culture, and quality of life for the next generation. By utilizing imagery of Harris as a woman and a young girl, this piece urges you to realize that the hope of a child dreaming of making the world a better place connects us all, and if we choose to honor that deep sense of justice to answer the call of responsibility to our fellow man (and woman), we can embody the change we wish to see.
